What Curriculum We Use

Little Hearts Christian Academy uses a creative curriculum called Invitations to Play. It is a themed-based curriculum that supports teaching to the whole child. It supports growth in all areas of development: physical, cognitive, language, social-emotional, academic and spiritual. Invitations to Play is aligned with Virginia's Early Learning & Development Standards and also aligns with Teachstone's CLASS Assessment Tool. This curriculum has a variety of themes and holiday and religious themes that can be added. In a faith-based environment, Little Hearts Christian Academy wants to help prepare children for kindergarten so they will be successful in school, foster a life-long love for learning, they will be good citizens, and they will be able to recognize God moving in their lives.
